running after jackson for the past three years had been anything but easy, but stiles had the determination and devotion to reach his way to success despite the complications. no matter how many times he had slammed his head against walls in frustration, or had to cancel once another trip back home – he somehow managed. today would be just another day, certainly not easy – certainly not pleasant, but it seems like the world was testing him once more.
confusion is all there is to decorate his features as he steps beside his boss, unsure of what to say or do other than awkwardly and very much confusedly stare at the two men before them. for a moment stiles cannot believe his ears; maybe he was completely losing his mind and this was a very very bad dream. ❛ uhm, who …- who is getting married ? ❜ a stiff peek at jackson sends a crack webbing through the mask he desperately tries to hold on to. what on earth is going on ?
For a second he thought the opposite would not follow the current, perhaps it was precipitated by saying that, but knowing Stiles; the man or shut up or just accept everything that Jackson say without question. At least he hoped so. He smiled at his bosses before clicking several times the shoulder and then the stomach of his fake fiancé. “You and I, silly. You and I are getting married.”
He raised his eyebrows immediately when he heard one of his bosses asked if he was serious about marriage because, well, it was assumed that Stiles was his assistant, is more: the man asked him, so quickly Jackson replied without hesitation: "Assistant executive, but hey you know is not the first time one of us fell in love of our assistants, right?“ He laughed casual. "Remember? The cute girl you had as assistant… well, this is something that should not happen, two people who should not fall in love, but they did. Don’t we?” He did not wait for an answer, so he settled his suit and Stiles’ with formality. “Are you happy? Because obviously we are.” He gently patted the shoulder of his assistant, trying to make the gesture was brotherly love or something, but was rather strange if he was asked.
